After not posting for a couple weeks, due to 2 horrible nights of bowling. The last 2 thursday nights (wednesday night league is done with), I have done damn good. Last week I shot 659, and was very pleased to get back on track. Tinight though I bowled my **** of my second game. The lanes were freshly oiled, since the league before us is doneI started off with a 218, had an open in the 8th and was an ok game. Then came the second game. I got to 8 in a row and started getting nervous as hell. It got worse every frame after that, i swear my heart was going to beat its way through my chest, but I was able to keep calm enough to bury the hole in the 9th to the 11th. Then I found myself staring down 11 strikes for the first time in my life, I stayed pretty calm and took my time, but my arm was shaking like hell throughout my approach. I ended up lofting the ball to the arrows, and left a 6-10 for a 298. I was kinda pissed i ended like that, but I feel like now that I've got 11 in a row once I can go out and do it again, and I have all summer to try and do it again. My last game was a big 196, i felt kinda tired after the adreneline rush of my last game ended. 712 on the night, but that 298 will definatly be what stays in my mind, atleast till I can get higher than that. Roll off for league championship next week, I'm going to need a good series for that, money is on the line.
Cell Out, Aresenal rolls over pins.
MLB.com should hire me to make up titles for their articles >.>
Well, for the first time on wednesday night the cell sucked. Lots of over under with it (which is unusual for wednesday nights). Granted we bowled on fresh oil instead of haveing a leauge before us, but the ball was too agressive on the inside, and wouldnt come back on the outside. After all was said and done with my first game I ended with a 172. I had fooled around enough with the cell that game to know it wasn't going to cut it. So, after thinking about what I had with me, I went to my good ol' aresenal. Playing straight up 9 this thing hammered the pocket. Game 2 I went 225. I missed the pocket once that game, but had some trouble carrying the dime later in the game. Moved left for game 3, and started carrying the 10 again. All was good until my 9th frame were I flagged a 4-7 to the right. Bleh damn mental mistakes. I went spare 9 to end with a 232. So a 629 overall on the night, and not to terrible considering my first sub-par game. Only one more week left on wednesday nights now. Here's hoping to go out with a bang. And heres hoping I don't start of sucky in my league tomorrow night again. the 220+s are great, but starting with a buck seventy sucks.
